About the Role:

As an intern or volunteer with Core Performance Physical Therapy, you’ll work closely with our experienced team of physical therapists and support staff. This role is an excellent opportunity for students and those exploring a career in physical therapy to gain invaluable experience, build professional connections, and develop skills in a real-world clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist PTs and PTAs with patient preparation, equipment setup, and clinic upkeep.
• Observe and learn various treatment techniques, exercises, and patient care protocols.
• Engage with patients in a professional, empathetic manner, helping them feel comfortable and supported.
• Support administrative tasks, such as scheduling, documentation, and record-keeping.
• Participate in team meetings, patient education, and staff training sessions as needed.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a related program in physical therapy, kinesiology, exercise science, or health sciences (preferred but not required).
• Interest in physical therapy, patient care, and rehabilitation.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Reliability, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
