Core Performance Physical Therapy is looking to hire an energetic, dynamic, and professional physical therapy aide to work in our fast-paced outpatient orthopedic clinic. Preferably seeking a candidate who is hoping to or is pursuing a career in physical therapy. We are invested in the development of our aides as we prepare them to apply to physical therapy school and pursue their dreams of becoming a physical therapist. There will be an initial training program that includes; learning how to cue patients while they perform therapeutic exercises, learning to use a variety of therapeutic modalities, how to handle fall risk patients, and implementation of plyometrics into a rehabilitative program. The initial training process is supplemented with monthly training modules designed to improve understanding of common diagnoses seen in an outpatient orthopedic setting. In addition to a thorough training process, twice per year aides have check-ins to ensure they are completing the necessary prerequisite coursework required for them to be eligible to apply to physical therapy schools. We require aides to have a minimum of twenty hours of availability per week, but are flexible with scheduling to accommodate changes in availability that occur during each semester of school.
