Divina De Garriz Front Office
Divina was born and raised in Long Beach. She began practicing judo at the age of seven and eventually competed at the national level, earning a silver medal along the way. In college, she discovered a passion for dance and explored a variety of styles, including ballet, hip-hop, and Latin dance.
This experience opened her eyes to a common issue in the dance world: the lack of emphasis on proper conditioning. After witnessing several fellow dancers sustain injuries mid - performance, she was inspired to study kinesiology. Divina went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise and Human Performance from Cal State LA. She hopes to one day use her expertise to help educate dancers on the importance of cross-training - because dancers are athletes too.
In her free time, Divina enjoys dancing at her local dance studio and spending time outdoors with her fiance - whether it's camping, hiking, or cycling. She also loves photography and capturing her outdoor adventures.
