Crispa Ballesteros Physical Therapy Aide
Born in the Philippines and raised in California from the age of seven, Crispa is currently pursuing a degree in kinesiology with a focus on sports medicine. With a lifelong passion for sports, physical health, and active living, she aims to gain hands-on experience and deepen her understanding of the field through her role with the Core team.
An active childhood filled with volleyball, basketball, and track and field fostered a deep appreciation for the importance of physical wellness. Personal experiences with knee and ankle injuries - and the subsequent rehabilitation process - sparked a lasting interest in kinesiology and physical therapy. These experiences not only shaped her academic and career goals but also inspired a commitment to helping others maintain healthy, active lifestyles.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Crispa coaches basketball and is dedicated to educating young athletes on injury prevention and body awareness. She believes in the long-term value of teaching proper care and maintenance of the body, especially for those engaged in physically demanding activities.
Outside of school and work, Crispa enjoys spending time at the gym, attending car shows, cooking, and exploring new technologies. This year, she is prioritizing both mental and physical wellness - whether through spending time in nature or connecting with family and loved ones.
