Breanna Urasaki, PT, DPT, OCS Physical Therapist
Breanna Urasaki was born and raised in San Diego county. In 2015, she moved to Huntington Beach while earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. After graduating, she remained in the greater LA area and attended the University of Southern California where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2023. Throughout her coursework, she gained clinical experience with a range of orthopedic, sports, post-operative, and neurologic populations. As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Brea draws inspiration from functional strengthening, mobility-based exercises, and current evidence-based practice in order to create an individualized approach to help every patient reach their goals and optimize their daily life and physical performance.
Her passion for patients with orthopedic conditions led her to participate in USC’s Orthopedic Residency program to pursue further specialization where she continued her clinical practice in Santa Monica. During residency, she worked with a variety of populations, with a large emphasis on endurance athletes. Following residency, Brea became a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist through the APTA. Following residency, she split her time between Santa Monica and Irvine, working with a wide spectrum of patients and conditions. This includes working alongside the sports medicine team at Loyola Marymount University, University of California - Irvine, and private sports training facilities working with individual athletes ranging from recreational to professional levels of baseball, basketball, and track & field. She enjoys integrating strength and conditioning principles, aspects of Pilates and yoga, and manual interventions to best meet individual patient needs.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, running along the beach, and settling in with a good book. If she is not enjoying being outdoors in nature, you may often find her cuddling with her 2 cats, listening to music, or playing video games.
